CAPL is unable to provide referrals to specific forensic psychiatrists. You can search for a forensic psychiatrist by name using the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s directory of fellows. You can obtain contact information for a specific forensic psychiatrist by through your provincial college of physicians and surgeons or medical board.

Complaints about forensic psychiatrists should be directed to your provincial college of physicians and surgeons or medical board. Complaints must usually be made in writing.

Due to limited staff resources, CAPL is also unable to respond to individual requests for information regarding information about a specific illness or treatment option, including medication.
